- Conceptualize and implement impactful strategic communications initiatives for clients
- Have a strong vision, set clear objectives for the team and ensure they are aligned
- Drive new business growth by leading development of new business proposals and/ or farming of existing relationships
- Identify opportunities for new income generation that have a positive impact on REDHILL as a whole
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior regional/ local journalists and stakeholders
- Representing the company in select marketing, brand-building, or networking opportunities
- Think holistically beyond earned media to propose integrated ideas and strategies that will value add to clients’ business
- Cultivate a positive, engaging and enriching work culture amongst the team
- Cultivate strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to clients to build client satisfaction.
- Develop and execute media and crisis training programs for clients where required.
- Crisis management – end-to-end strategy, planning and execution
- Ensure smooth, timely delivery, as well as margin growth/protection on projects.
- Nurture and train team members, ensuring their quality of work is up to mark and that they’re reaching their full potential
- Independently manage campaign budgets and timelines
- Work with managers in developing, implementing and analysing REDHILL’s strategic growth plans
