We're representing our client, a leading ICT MNC player in search for a Senior Presales consultant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and providing business solutions to customers across various communication and IT technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical solutions for both new and existing corporate customers in areas like Train Borne (e.g., CCTV, Information Display Systems), communication systems, and IT-related solutions.
- Lead complex, large-scale projects that involve multiple technologies from both the company and third-party vendors. Work closely with solution architects and product teams to develop project technology strategies by understanding client objectives and requirements.
- Diagnose and map client needs, identify solution risks, recommend project approaches, and prepare time/cost estimates while planning the full project lifecycle.
- Prepare and deliver business value-driven solutions, including proposal writing, presentations, and proof-of-concept demonstrations to validate technical feasibility.
- Propose technical solutions, select the right technologies, and estimate resources required to implement solutions that meet customer needs.
- Provide alternatives with a clear comparison of costs, benefits, and risks when multiple solutions exist.
- Highlight the positive impact of proposed solutions and how they align with customers’ business goals.
- Manage customer relationships by communicating architectural standards, addressing questions, and resolving concerns.
- Actively contribute to the business development process, supporting sales efforts, identifying opportunities, and generating proposals.
- Collaborate with the project delivery team to ensure the solution design is practical and sound and assist in refining areas of improvement during project implementation.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with expertise in enterprise architecture consulting, including architecture reviews, and building consensus among stakeholders.
- Experience in presales proposal preparation, including writing and presenting tenders.
- Proficiency in manpower costing and estimation for tender submissions.
- Proven experience designing solutions involving in-house technologies, third-party hardware, and software.
- Strong ability to engage in discussions with senior-level decision-makers regarding business value, agility, and system architecture.
- Familiarity with the Singapore government tender process and security requirements is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
