The ideal candidate will be involved in overall Project Management of One Raffles Place to surpass Grade A office building standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist Head of Operations in developing project brief, proposal, design intent, pre-qualification of contractor, tender document prior to calling of tender.
- Attend regular meetings or site inspections with Management/Consultant/Contractors, assess contractors’ claims and variations, prepare or review reports in accordance to the status of the project.
- Coordination of work for the on-going upgrading of commercial building including Upgrading of PV Panels, Façade Lighting Upgrading, Restroom and Lobbies Upgrading, or any other assigned AEI projects.
- Coordination of M&E operation tasks and site inspection work as and when necessary.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders within the organization and monitor contractors’ performance against the project plan.
- Coordinate and resolve technical or site issues during project execution stage and maintenance/defect liability period as they arise to minimise delays and irregularities.
- Ensure timely submission of the work schedules by the contractors, reporting of site progress and highlighting issues encountered by the contractors to Head of Operations.
- Ensure proper documentation and administration of the project works.
- Ensure that all workplace safety rules and regulations are being observed and complied by the contractors.
- Manage and monitor the activities of appointed contractors to ensure their works are well coordinated with stakeholders, tenants, subcontractor and operations team.
- Manage and oversee the contractors' work and progress on site during the project execution stage so that works are completed on time and according to key performance requirements, project quality plan and within budget.
- Review feasibility study of identified projects as they arise.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Building Services or equivalent discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experiences.
- Experience in sustainability practices, Green Mark Accredited Professional.
- Experience in Project Management and coordination of M&E/C&S/Architectural works within operational building.
- Good team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- MS Office, Powerpoint, Autocad design software.
