What are we looking for?

Our Semiconductor EPCM business is growing, and we are recruiting a mid-level to Senior Design Project Manager/ Design Integrator for our global projects in EU & US to work remotely based out of Singapore office. This challenging position involves working as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing design projects from beginning to end. They will develop design strategies, delegate tasks, and mentor team members.

Job Scope:

  • Responsible for the project management of small to mid-sized projects or designated portions of a larger projects.
  • Establish project budgets, prepare proposals, and develop and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Develop and maintain project resource plans.
  • Develop and successfully manage project execution plans including definition of scope, schedule, communication tools, software tools, deliverable distribution lists.
  • Proactively report and present project status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Successfully manage change on projects.
  • Collaborate with the regional quality manager in the development of project specific quality plans.
  • Properly identify and assess project risks and escalate to senior leadership as appropriate.
  • Create and meet all project milestones and financial commitments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • PMP certified professional project manager or in pursuit of PMP certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering discipline.
  • 5 years of construction related experience as Design Project Manager or Design Engineering Manager role.

Essential Skills:

  • Must be able to work in an integrated team environment, must work well with ambiguous settings, and must work well independently and can manage multiple priorities.
  • Understands the fundaments of the Last Planner System and drives utilization within the Project Team.
  • Strong leadership, business partnership, written/verbal communication and analytical skills are a must to ensure alignment with internal customers, peers, and suppliers.
  • Possess the necessary skills required to develop project scope, budgets, schedules, and manage the execution of multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Technical skills should be at a level required to thoroughly understand engineering decisions and code requirements related to building construction; cleanroom retrofits; and facility electrical, mechanical, and process systems.
  • Extensive skills with the utilization of project management software (Project Estimating, Scheduling, and Procurement systems).
  • Ability to deliver clear and accurate detail in a timely basis.
