What You'll Do

As a M&A Investment Analyst, your role will be pivotal in evaluating and executing healthcare M&A opportunities across Asia. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive financial models to support deal underwriting, bid strategy, structuring and deal closure of transaction documents. Your ability to conduct thorough due diligence on investment opportunities will be key, as well as your capacity to prepare and present qualitative and quantitative analysis to the Investment Committee. You will also contribute to managing external DD advisors, leading sub-workstreams, negotiating terms etc. Furthermore, you will support the M&A and Strategy team in building transaction pipelines through engagement with various external parties.

  • Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for the M&A Investment Analyst role is someone who brings a wealth of experience in M&A, corporate finance, investment management from an investment bank/private equity firm/consulting firm. You should have a proven track record of working on either buy-side or sell-side transactions. Your strong numerical, financial, and critical thinking skills will be essential in this role. We are looking for someone with sound judgement who can generate creative solutions to transaction issues. A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related specialization from a reputable university is required along with at least 4-5 years' experience in executing M&A transactions. Proficiency in financial modelling and strong research & analytical skills are also key.

  • Experience of M&A, corporate finance, investment management in an investment bank / private equity firm / consulting firm
  • Track record of working on either buy-side or sell-side transactions
  • Strong numerical, financial, and critical thinking skills
  • Sound judgement and an ability to generate creative solutions to Transaction issues
  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in a finance, accounting, or related specialization from a reputable University
  • At least 1to 3 years' experience in executing M&A transactions (sell-side or buy-side)
  • Proficient in financial modelling (across VC, growth, and buyout transactions)
  • Strong research & analytical skills
