Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Contract)

Duration: April to July (4 months)

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to provide temporary support to our team during a colleague's maternity leave. This is a 4-month contract position with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the team

- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings

- Handle email and phone correspondence

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases

- Assist with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks

- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties:

- Process and reconcile vendor invoices and customer payments

- Maintain accurate AP and AR records and reports

- Calculate and process sales commissions for team members

- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an accounting or finance role

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software

- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- High level of discretion and confidentiality
