- To assist and report to Senior Engineer and Head Engineer to ensure smooth running of daily engineering operations.
- To assist in set up, configure, operate and maintain a wide variety of electrical and electronic equipment.
- To assist in troubleshoot equipment and able to communicate and report to the Engineers and manufacturer for problem solving.
- To assist in cleaning and packing, sending equipment which may include loading / unloading trucks, verifying and acknowledging delivery orders, and other essential paperwork for deliveries to customers or shipping companies.
- To assist in checking equipment from return shipment to ensure that, equipment return matches the packing list provided. Identify missing items and prepare discrepancy report.
- To identify the faulty equipment from returned shipment, with engineers support, prepare a fault report and communicate with General manger and head office for further action.
- To Clean and store stock according to correct location.
- To perform the works with professional skill, due care and diligence to the best of its ability, and in accordance with highest industry standards and practices for works.
- To undertake project work with professional skill, due care and diligence to the best of its ability, and in accordance with highest industry standards and practices for works, including the setting-up, installation, maintenance and dismantling of the equipment.
- To assist engineers in keeping the equipment updated with new manufacturers software.
- To be responsible and understand the required safety and technical standards when dealing with the equipment and always practice with minimum disruption to operational activities.
- To be flexible with work time and travel.
- Any other ad-hoc duties.
- Knowledgeable about equipment, cables and power used in outdoor broadcasting.
- Understanding how the company's Engineering Department and Warehouse Team work together to prepare the kits and equipment required for each job/project.
- Able to carry out physical tasks due to the nature of job.
- Able to travel overseas for regional and international projects.
