Brief Introduction of the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Plumbing & Sanitary Quantity Surveyor cum Drafter. This dual-role position requires a candidate who has a solid background in both quantity surveying and drafting for plumbing and sanitary systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation, evaluation, and management of cost estimates while also drafting accurate, detailed, and clear plumbing system drawings.

Job Description

  • Perform plumbing and sanitary related quantity take offs, cost estimations and handle project VOs and claims
  • Negotiate with suppliers and clients on costing and finalization of contracts.
  • Liase with all stakeholders including internal project team
  • Work closely with our project managers, quantity surveyor and drafting team to incorporate site design and scope changes and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Prepare accurate plumbing and sanitary Shop, Detail, Construction, As-Built and Submission drawings using Auto CAD software.
  • Modify, Monitor and Update drawings as necessary to accomodate changes in project scope or client requirements.
  • Ensure all plumbing and sanitary drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Prepare, study and review quotations and all tender documents (scope of work, drawings, and technical specifications)

Key Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and sanitary systems, materials, and installation methods
  • At least 3 years of experience & knowledge in the Plumbing & Sanitary field
  • 2 Years of relevant working experience in a local firm
  • Must be fluent in Written & Spoken English
  • High Proficiency in using AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and standards for plumbing and sanitary works
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to details
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High sense of duty and responsibility
  • Team player and able to work with teams to meet project deadlines

Professional Qualifications

  • Possess a M&E Engineering Degree.
  • Related Certifications in Quantity Surveying, Plumbing & Sanitary and Drafting are a major plus.
