How to succeed in this role

The Role & Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Planning

  • Oversee all phases of landed residential and A&A interior fit-out projects, ensuring seamless execution from planning to handover. Timelines management, coordinating with architects and contractors, and conducting site inspections to maintain high standards of design accuracy, material application, and luxury finishing. The role also ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and permit approvals related to A&A works.

Additions & Alterations Works and Structural Coordination

  • Understanding of structural modifications, space reconfigurations, and exterior upgrades. The Project Manager will oversee property extensions, layout reconfigurations, and facade enhancements while working closely with structural engineers and contractors to integrate new elements smoothly. Compliance with URA and BCA regulations is a key responsibility, requiring the timely acquisition of permits and approvals. Conducting risk assessments and ensuring that all modifications adhere to fire safety and green building standards.Coordinate procurement and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)

Design & Technical Execution

  • Leading on-site teams, responsible for coordinating contractors and sub-contractors to optimize workflow and efficiency. Regular site meetings will be conducted to align progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high performance levels. Additionally, it requires strict enforcement of safety protocols and compliance with workplace regulations, ensuring a secure and well-managed project environment.

Stakeholder Management

  • Acting as the primary liaison between clients, designers, consultants, and contractors, you are required to maintain clear and proactive communication to align project goals and expectations. Client engagement is a key aspect of the role, requiring expertise in advising on materials, finishes, and construction techniques while managing concerns and resolving challenges on-site. Strong interpersonal skills will be crucial in maintaining client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Control & Documentation

  • A keen eye for detail is essential in delivering exceptional interior finishing, ensuring premium materials, are meticulously selected and installed to meet luxury residential standards. Attention will be given to the intricate detailing, ensuring that the final output aligns with the design vision and client expectations. Regular quality control checks will be conducted to uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Skills & Qualifications

Technology and Reporting

  • Software Skills: Proficient in project management software, especially Microsoft Projects, to improve planning, tracking, and execution.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong knowledge of interior construction documentation and specifications.
  • Feedback Implementation: Incorporate client and team feedback to continuously improve project management processes and outcomes.
  • Performance Reporting: Utilize the latest project management software for weekly updates, providing comprehensive reports on project status, budget, timeline, and on-site conditions to management.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • Experienced in Interior Fit-Out / A&A works preferred
  • Proven track record managing high-end residential or commercial interior projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishes
  • Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 2 years’ experience in project/site coordination in interior project management for carpentry and relevant building and construction management working experience
  • Able to plan and manage several projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in project management software, in particular: MS Projects, Notion, etc.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite of products (Sheets, Calendar, etc.)

  • Salary Range: S$4,000 - S$5,000/ month with performance-based incentives and transportation allowance
