We are currently looking for a Human Resource Intern to assist the HR Team in Singapore to manage various HR functions across Singapore and Malaysia. Interested candidate must be able to commit from 1 March to 31 August 2025.
Through this Internship, you will be exposed to various HR functions which includes but not limited to below:
- Talent Acquisition/Recruitment - Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies and headcount planning to meet organizational goals. This includes overseeing the entire recruitment process, from creating job descriptions and advertising vacancies to shortlisting, interviewing candidates, extending offers, and preparing for onboarding.
- Learning and Organization Development - Collaborate regularly with various departments to identify specific training needs and programs that support employees' skill development and career growth. Conduct new hire induction training and HRIS training as needed.
- Performance Management - Work closely with department heads to ensure effective performance evaluations (Probation Assessments, Mid-Year Reviews, Year-End Appraisals) and develop performance improvement plans for employees. Conduct regular touchpoints with department heads and employees to gather feedback and updates, ensuring that manpower is deployed efficiently.
- Employee Relations and Engagement - Conduct regular touchpoints with department heads and employees to monitor employee satisfaction and gather feedback and suggestions for improvement. Plan and execute staff welfare activities and events, such as the Annual Dinner, team-building events, and team celebrations. Contribute to the organization’s regional newsletter committee to help publish our quarterly newsletters.
- HR Administration and HRIS system - Manage employee data in the HRIS and maintain personal files in the HR SharePoint. Prepare staff letters and ensure proper e-filing practices. Validate and process invoices from various partners, including recruitment agencies, suppliers, etc. Handle all work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations as required.
- Compensation and Benefits - Review and recommend compensation and benefits programs to ensure employees receive fair and competitive compensation packages, including salaries, commissions, bonuses, and company benefits. Serve as the point of contact for compensation & benefits and policy matters.
- Payroll - Actively support payroll functions to ensure employees receive accurate and timely remuneration. Calculate and verify the accuracy of salaries, wages, and any additional incentives or deductions for each employee. Ensure that the company’s payroll practices are aligned with labor laws and other relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Education Level: Undergraduates/Diploma students from Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resources Management or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn and explore new ventures
- Proficient in verbal and written communication
- Adept at active listening and conveying information
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
