What the role is:You will be performing forensic testing of seized drug exhibits under the supervision of a team of Scientists. You will also participate in R&D projects and quality assurance activities.What you will be working on:
  • Conduct forensic examination and analysis of seized drug exhibits under the supervision of Scientist.
  • Assist in the development of existing or new technologies including participating in R&D projects to enhance drug testing capabilities.
  • Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment / instruments.
  • In-charge of preparation, validation, verifications of standards, reagents, and solvents.
  • Assist in the quality assurance program in the laboratory.
  • Assist in general administrative duties such inventory management as well as procurement activities to ensure continual operation of laboratory activities.
What we are looking for:
  • Background in Chemistry or related field.
  • Experience working in a laboratory with experience in operating and maintaining analytical equipment such as LC, GC, GCMS and IR will be favourable.
  • Meticulous, innovative, independent learner, adaptable and strong critical thinking.
  • Good time management skills and able to work independently with a good sense of team spirit.
