Job Summary

T-Systems Singapore is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Head of Managed Security Services (SOC) to lead our security offerings across Singapore and the broader SEA region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering advanced security solutions, exceptional leadership capabilities, and deep technical expertise, especially in SOC management, AI-driven technologies, and emerging security trends. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy, ensuring T-Systems is recognized as a leader in managed security services in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for T-Systems’ Managed Security Services within the SEA region.
  • Build a compelling value proposition for our MSS offerings, aligning with market demands, organizational goals and manage the P&L
  • Drive innovation by incorporating advanced technologies such as AI, machine learning, and automation into the security services portfolio.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and operations of Security Operations Centers (SOCs) process, ensuring they meet global standards.
  • Ensure delivery excellence and customer satisfaction through robust governance, KPIs, Priority 1 incident response and SLAs are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security services into T-Systems’ broader service offerings.

Go-to-Market Expertise:

  • Lead and support the sales and pre-sales teams in developing market penetration strategies and customer acquisition plans.
  • Act as a thought leader representing T-Systems at customer engagements.
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging trends to create competitive differentiation and expand the MSS footprint.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of security professionals, including SOC managers and technical experts.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the security organization.

Customer Engagement:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, ensuring alignment of their security requirements with T-Systems’ solutions.
  • Manage escalations and build long-term relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.

Key Qualifications and Experience

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Technical Expertise:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity SOC management with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a systems integration, IT consulting, or MSSP environment.
  • Strong technical background with prior experience SOC environment.
  • Deep understanding of advanced security technologies, including AI-driven and machine learning solutions, threat intelligence platforms, and EDR/XDR solutions.

Business Acumen:

  • Demonstrated experience in go-to-market strategy development and execution within the SEA region.
  • Proven ability to align technical offerings with business outcomes and customer needs.

Leadership Skills:

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a history of building and leading successful teams.
  • Experience in fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and geographies.

Industry Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of regional cybersecurity regulations, compliance standards, and threat landscapes.
  • Strong connections within the SEA security community.
