Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Development of CO2 conversion technologies, especially, contributing towards the catalyst development of SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) synthesis and Olefin synthesis.

  • Project Management – Able to track and direct project schedules to ensure that deliverables are met in a timely manner and well aligned with IHI Group objectives through effective allocation of budgetary/manpower resources and time
  • Seek for potential opportunities working with upstream/downstream business partners in SAF manufacture/government agency to achieve scaling up of SAF technology
  • Seek for new technologies, opportunities, etc. in CO2 conversion/utilization

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience and knowledge in catalyst development is required
  • Experience in scaling up of catalyst synthesis
  • Experience in operating small scale test facility for synthesize hydrocarbons from CO2 and H2
  • Experience in material/catalyst analysis such as X-ray crystal structure analysis, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy etc
  • Experience in analysis of products from Fischer-Tropsch reaction such as Thermal Conductivity Detector Gas Chromatography etc
  • Experience in presentation in academic society related to catalyst
  • Business level Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) in reading, writing and communication are required to liaise closely and collaborate with members working in Japan Headquarter R&D Division for business/product development related activities is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft-Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is required
