Role and Responsibilities
Learn and execute the preparation of all meals to the highest quality standards
Position kitchen staff according to operation needs to maximise kitchen efficiencies
Manage quality and level of kitchen inventory as well as products delivered from suppliers
Perform daily operation tasks
Responsible for cooking and food preparation in a timely manner and according to the established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Ensure compliance to food safety, highest quality of food and hygiene standards at all times
Ensure kitchen is up to safety and cleanliness standard
Cleaning of food preparation areas and kitchen equipment & ad-hoc duties
Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance & deportment at all times
To assist with staff orientation & on-the-job training in store when required
To be familiar with the opening and closing procedures
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree holder
Service focus, self-motivated, disciplined with good interpersonal and organisational skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsible and positive working attitude
Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
Possess basic command of English for communication
