- Hands on concept and detailed Electrical design for a range of projects, in a lead discipline engineer role.
- Provide design calculations, drawings and specifications.
- Produce project related correspondence and reports and be part of a team that effectively wins and undertakes projects across the MEP and Buildings market.
- Management of small project teams. Where you will endeavour to develop and administer project monitoring, control mechanisms, and deliver quality work within the MEP team.
- Working directly with clients and other professionals with minimal supervision. Develop and maintain good relationships with industry networks, clients, government agencies, sub-consultants and construction contractors relevant to the MEP team’s activities.
- Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of detailed electrical design experience with an engineering consultancy.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
- Good working knowledge of relevant local and international legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments, effective written communication and report writing skills.
