DIVISION: RETAIL MANAGEMENT
REPORTING TO: ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR / SUPERVISOR
LOCATION AVAILABLE: Boon lay (BNLY), Anchor point (EACPT), West (EWECP), Sembawang (SBWG), Fairprice Toa Payoh
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming customers, suggesting baskets, and assisting with their needs.
Guide customers to the relevant aisle or shelf to aid them in making purchasing decisions.
Deliver comfortable shopping experience by maintain overall cleanliness and neatness of the shop.
CASHIER DUTIES
Manage customer transactions, handle payments, and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of checkout and merchandise areas.
Stay informed about merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product details.
Adhering to cashiering procedures concerning payment methods, vouchers, and promotional items.
Address customer concerns, offer guidance, and provide relevant information
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise as per standard procedures.
Ensuring shipping information attached is correct, and moving completed order to designated shipping area
Organize goods by stacking them, ensuring prompt dispatch to their destinations, and affixing price labels as needed.
Practice FEFO during stocking of goods with expiry dates.
Help check expiration dates on goods and report any items nearing expiration to the supervisor for B1F1.
Ensure a tidy workspace, monitor store and equipment temperatures to prevent damage to products.
OTHER AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Incumbent, under the digression of their Asst Supervisor/Supervisor may be required to undertake additional work-related task not specified in their key areas of responsibilities. These tasks shall be completed by the incumbent, following established guidelines and SOPs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
18 years old & above (Adhere to national regulations prohibiting the employment of underage workers.)
Minimum secondary school education level or higher
Able to work autonomously
Able to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
Basic mathematical & computer skills
Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience working in retail operations
