
Logistics Coordinator

Main duties and responsibilities:
Coordinate with customers daily to confirm volume requirements and manage the fleet necessary for daily deliveries.
Take orders over the phone/WhatsApp messages and process them accordingly.
Manage incoming orders and the pool of available tankers to ensure excellent delivery service to customers.
Proactively manage and monitor sales orders by coordinating with sales administration personnel to prevent delivery disruptions caused by insufficient quantities in the system.
Ensure orders are processed in the system (CWIS & Site Printing) and dispatch the correct materials in the right quantities as per customer requirements.
Follow up and monitor deliveries through the GPS system and make phone calls as necessary to ensure timely arrival at customer sites without delays.
Manage and check E-DO after materials are loaded into tankers.
Assist drivers in resolving any E-DO related issues they encounter.
Check on Ready GO and update customers/supervisors if a Delivery Note (DN) is incomplete without a signature.
Report drivers who do not comply with SOPs and in-house rules to the supervisor and respective transporter.
Take up logistic administration tasks:
Systematically maintain drivers' records and update them regularly.
Generate monthly CWIS card registration reports and file them.
Input daily data into IG permit records.
Maintain and file SOP-related documents such as tanker seal records and inspection reports.
Learn and acquire SAP knowledge related to cement dispatch.
Participate in weekly Driver toolbox meetings and update records in the TBT file.
Work in rotating shift patterns assigned by the supervisor.
Required to work on Sundays and public holidays.
Work location is inside the Jurong Port cement terminal office.
Undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time, including shipment receiving.
Requirements:
Diploma/NITEC/ITE or equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
Proficiency in using dispatch software systems and GPS tracking tools is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities are necessary for effective coordination with customers and team members.
Familiarity with SAP systems or experience in a similar industry could be advantageous.
