Our client is a global leader in the agricultural sector, specialising in the supply, marketing, and transportation of grains, oilseeds, and other agricultural products.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate chartering / shipping operations for all agriculture products
  • Ensure export and import Letter of Credit (LC) are timely processed/applied
  • Handle LC negotiation
  • Ensure shipping documentations are proper and accurate
  • Ensure timely shipping tracking/delivery
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution in accordance with contract terms
  • Ensure freight, shipping details and laytime transactions are keyed into system in a timely manner and link all the cost calculations
  • Help to manage invoicing process and ensure final and full payment received

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or above with minimum 1-2 years relevant experience
  • Shipping/Operations experience in commodity trading firm preferred
  • Knowledge of Letter of Credit
  • Organized and able to multi-task, work as part of a team as well as independently with minimum supervision
