Description
As an Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the operations team in the implementation of a firmwide portfolio analytics tools and management reporting enhancements. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Assist the operations team in implementing and inputting data requirements for the new portfolio analytics system.
- Prepare, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in checking data quality and perform reconciliations on historical data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the testing and validation of the portfolio analytics system to ensure that the outputs are relevant and accurate.
- Document data preparation and validation processes for knowledge retention purposes.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and/or other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or equivalent.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a financial services or investment management setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and familiarity with Bloomberg and Portfolio Management Systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Self-motivated, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Meticulous with attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be placed on a 1-year contract.
