Sales Manager must be a business hunter and act as liaison between the sales, operations, presales teams and business clients to ensure new business wins. He/She will be responsible to penetrate new sectors to create more enterprise accounts, address clients’ needs proactively and facilitate the sale processes from the beginning to closure. He/she will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to contribute to increased sales and maintain Managed Services Business Unit’s clients’ relationship at a high standard. The objective is to source and transform opportunities to long term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales to meet revenue targets by penetrating new markets, prospecting new customers and/or expand NEC’s coverage in existing customers
- Cultivate, maintain and grow relationships with new and established accounts that will increase business and ensure excellent client relations
- Maintain Account Business Plan for each strategic customer to meet Sales goals
- Ensure a consistent pipeline of opportunities
- Lead the full Sales Cycle, including cold calling, making introductory presentations, building relationship with customer key stakeholders, qualifying customers, influencing customer functional and services specifications, preparing winning proposals, following up on customer clarifications, negotiations and closing of opportunities
- Provide Sales Strategies, Win Plan and lead internal processes during the bid process
- Good understanding of the Managed Services’ project execution and delivery processes with strong ability to grasp clients’ requirements, conduct gathering of requirements and analysis and prepare functional requirements and services requirements’ specification documents
- Follow up on deal closure including customer contract signature, customer's PO, order logging, project/operational handover etc.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines
- At least 6 years of experience in IT industry, with at least 4 years’ experience in Sales that is related to managed/vendor/outsourced services
- Self-motivated, self-managing and driven to plan and execute rigorous lead generation activities
- Strong understanding of information technology environment, including cloud computing
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, both written and presentation
- Multitasker who possesses the ability to lead and prioritize tasks across various teams within the organization
