Job Description:
- Record and manage financial transactions, including taxes, sales, profits, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct project cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Work closely with project managers to assess financial performance, and manage project budgets.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- Coordinate and support external and internal audits, ensuring all documentation is in order.
- Monitor and improve financial controls, procedures, and reporting processes.
- Provide financial insights, risk assessments, and recommendations to management.
- Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and other financial obligations.
- Handle ad-hoc financial tasks and reporting as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, or ISCA are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, auditing principles, and tax laws.
- Experience in project accounting and cost tracking is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
