Job description
The Risk and Compliance Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Fraxtor's adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining a strong risk management framework. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in an exciting segment of the financial industry and develop a solid foundation in compliance and risk management.
Description:
You shall report to Fraxtor’s Head of Risk and Compliance and be involved in various aspects of compliance and operation risk including but not limited to:
- Support Customer Due Diligence, Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorism Financing and Know-Your-Client measures for new and existing clients
- Assist in the implementation of the compliance programme based on the compliance calendar (i.e. compliance reporting, audits, review of existing policies and procedures).
- Contribute to the development, review and maintenance of Compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct research on regulatory updates and assess their impact on the firm’s operations.
- Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and presentations.
- Support the implementation of compliance training programs for employees
- Assist in the review, design and rectification of work processes for risk management. Assist in coordination and implementation of risk management initiatives with functional business units.
- Assist in the performance of due-diligence for listing of new products on the platform
- Performing user acceptance testing for newly developed enhancements to the web platform.
- Any other relevant duties assigned
Candidate Requirement:
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in finance, law, risk-management or other related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Curiosity and a keen learning attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in the security tokenisation space
- Full-time/part-time (must be able to work on-site at least 2 half days a week).
