As the Finance Director, you will be working closely with the CEO and the Senior Management Team. You will be the finance partner to the CEO, products team and C-levels, and will be in charge of all accounting operations, preparing financial reports, sales reports and other financial analysis to support the development of the company. In this role, you will benefit from the mentorship of highly skilled experts, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once, which involve partnering with stakeholders across the company.
Responsibilities:
Finance
- Oversee daily operations of the Finance department and ensure timely and accurate periodic financial closing and reporting, including consolidation of subsidiaries (Singapore and US)
- Budgeting and forecasting process as well as long term cashflow management
- Provide leadership in the development of financial strategies that drives long term financial sustainability
- Business partner with cross functional teams on financial and commercial analysis and tracking of key performance metrics
- Manage Board of Directors and investors requests and expectations, manage relationships with shareholders and investors
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
- Liaise with external parties, including auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries, to ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory requirements
Operations & Partnering
- Coordinate with other Head of Department (such as product, technology, regulatory) in ensuring:
- operational alignment with strategic plans and budget
- preparation of reporting against strategic plans and milestones achievement
- recruitment of resources
- Manage and coach a small finance team, and any ad-hoc duties and projects assigned to Finance

Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance / ACCA or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience within a people management role
- Prior experience in a SaaS company
- A start-up attitude – taking full ownership of things that you do, willing to get out of your comfort zone and take on new challenges
- Demonstrate curiosity, collaboration, and the ability to deal with ambiguity
- Driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Hands-on, meticulous, and able to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
- Strong problem solving and presentation skills
- Well versed in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore tax regulations
- Experience in using NetSuite accounting software is a plus
