Corporate Office Finance Business Partner
The incumbent will oversee the business support for Corporate Office and lead the Group Controllership function. This role ensures strong financial governance, compliance and operational efficiency while supporting strategic decision-making. This would require establishing a good understanding and knowledge of the existing processes, able to lead and conduct process review, design, development and implementation discussions with multi -internal and external stakeholders. A strong background of healthcare processes and systems will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Office Finance Business Partner
- Manage the NUHS Corporate Office annual budget planning, regular budget forecast reporting and updates required for management decisions.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources and financial sustainability for corporate functions.
- Oversee the monthly and year-end financial closing process, including management reporting.
- Manage cluster finance policies and processes, including bank mandate.
- Act as Cluster representative for Finance Shared Service, maintaining oversight of performance and key activities.
- Lead the cluster annual capex budget exercise, including forecast reporting, review of strategic/growth projects capital asks and Post Implementation Review of key capex spends.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting and automation. Leverage technology to enhance financial transparency, data analytics and reporting.
- Lead team of finance professionals, fostering a high- performance and collaborative culture.
- Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting and familiar with Singapore healthcare financing models is an added advantage.
- Have the basic knowledge in data science techniques and concepts, with understanding of its applicability in the course of work.
- Good quantitative skills and data literacy, with knowledge of Excel.
