Assistant Relationship Manager for our External Asset Managers (EAM) Team
We are looking for talent to join our family to support our EAM business, the new joiner will be based in Singapore.
The main goal of the position is to support our EAM clients in Asia-Pacific acting as one of the first points of contact and maintaining strong trusted relationships with all clients throughout the entire life cycle of their business relationship with Lombard Odier, which includes daily and periodic activity. Activities include account opening, periodic compliance reviews, support for client queries, execution services, payment processing and the administration of the relationship to comply with Lombard Odier policies and procedures.
YOUR ROLE
1. Assist in managing portfolio of customers:
· Support growth strategies lead by the Team Head
· Communicate with product specialists and other internal stakeholders to support client relationships
· Support identification of credit and operational risks
2. Manage client interactions:
· Attend to further enquiries from clients to ensure ongoing client satisfaction
· Escalate client conflicts according to Bank procedures
· Review documents on client interactions to ensure they are documented according to Bank procedures
3. Maintain service delivery standards:
· Conduct service reviews together with the Relationship Managers and/or Team Head and check-ins with clients to obtain feedback and client satisfaction
· Provide solutions for identified recurring client servicing issues, and test contingencies to ensure service expectations are always maintained during service disruptions
· Identify areas of improvement and recommend remedial actions based on analyses of client enquiries
4. Coordinate collaborative efforts to provide solutions to clients:
· Develop insights into clients' needs based on analyses of client information and engagements
· Coordinate across relevant departments to deliver on client commitments
· Follow up with relevant operational teams to resolve service issues in a timely fashion
· Develop mitigation plans with operational teams to resolve recurring client servicing issues and client complaints
5. Manage customer lifecycle end-to-end
· Gather customer documents for Know Your Customer (KYC) and onboarding procedures
· Respond to enquiries in a timely fashion to help support positive client experiences
· Assist in monitoring financing plans and escalate conflicts
· Identify and flag suspicious transactions under account portfolio for further review
YOUR PROFILE
· At least 6 years of Private Banking experience of which at least a few years in the EAM business
· Degree holder
· CACS 1 and 2, CMFAS 1B and 5 are a plus
· Very strong operational capabilities
· Able to handle difficult client discussions and resolve issues / disputes independently
· Enjoy the administration and coordination of tasks related to the EAM business
· Be comfortable with being the main point of contact for day-to-day interactions with institutional clients (EAMs / MFOs)
· Solid experience handling account openings
· Great team player who is willing to go the extra mile in order to maintain and achieve high-quality client satisfaction
· Ambassador of Lombard Odier and its EAM business
