Key Responsibilities

Operational HR Support

  • Act as the primary HR contact for business units, addressing operational HR matters efficiently.
  • Provide timely resolutions to HR queries in collaboration with internal HR teams.
  • Manage employment contracts, including renewals, re-employment post-retirement, and changes in employment terms (e.g., part-time requests, transfers).
  • Oversee the full offboarding process, including resignations, retirements, dismissals, and other contract terminations in compliance with HR policies.
  • Process out-of-system transactions such as overtime, claims, and job-related allowances.
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive employee experience.
  • Address staff grievances, provide guidance and counseling, and manage disciplinary matters in partnership with management.
  • Work closely with shared services teams to ensure HR policies, audit standards, and legal requirements (e.g., Employment Act, CPF, IRAS) are met.

Compliance & HR Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws through active participation in internal and external audits.
  • Conduct regular data audits to maintain the accuracy of employee records.
  • Develop and manage HR dashboards for business units, working closely with other HR teams.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, providing data-driven insights to management.
  • Monitor workforce planning, succession planning, and manpower reports to support strategic decision-making.

Business Partnering & Strategic HR Support

  • Provide expert guidance to line managers on performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Build strong partnerships with business units to understand workforce needs and business objectives.
  • Actively participate in leadership meetings, providing HR insights to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment by enhancing employee engagement, morale, and retention efforts.
  • Analyze HR trends and provide tailored solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Partner with HR teams on performance appraisals, salary reviews, bonus exercises, and employee recognition programs.
  • Continuously assess and enhance HR policies and processes to drive efficiency and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4–5 years of HR Business Partner experience, preferably with 2–5 years in the healthcare sector.
  • Skills & Competencies:Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    Proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
    Solid understanding of the Employment Act and other relevant labor regulations.
    Ability to engage, guide, and influence senior leaders on strategic HR initiatives.
