Position Title: Sales Director – Insurance Technology Solutions

Position Overview
We are looking for a Sales Director to drive the adoption of innovative insurance technology solutions among insurance carriers and brokers. In this role, you will establish long-term strategic partnerships while contributing to the ongoing development of product offerings.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, leading the sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, and building strong client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance technology landscape and the ability to effectively communicate value propositions to senior management levels at client organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish new business relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Understand client goals and challenges to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Own the entire business development cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Lead complex sales efforts, including identifying, qualifying, and closing new business deals.
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to expand the business portfolio.
  • Communicate success stories and value propositions effectively to clients.
  • Foster and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to keep deal pipelines and forecasts up to date.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and other contract details, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving any issues that arise.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance technology sales.
  • 5+ years of field sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Proven track record in sales, including needs analysis, business justification, and closing techniques.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, mentoring others when needed.
  • Capable of navigating complex sales cycles and adapting to changing client needs in the insurance and employee benefits sector.
