Our client, which specializes in delivering innovative service solutions (tools and testing) across the Chemical, Science, Laboratory, Environmental, and Technology sectors and others.
They are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager (Native Japanese) to join their team and drive growth initiatives. Depending on your experience, the title and compensation may be adjusted.
Position Overview:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to expand our client base and enhance our service offerings. Your role will involve engaging with businesses, developing management plans, and fostering relationships with both local and international partners.
Responsibilities:
- B2B New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
- Strategy Formulation: Collaborate in formulating and executing management and sales strategies to meet business objectives.
- Sales Activities: Engage with clients to present company services and solutions, facilitating successful sales outcomes. Implement or demonstrate the services by visiting client sites and ensuring alignment with company standards. Conduct regular reviews to assess client performance and service effectiveness. Provide ongoing support to management to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Service and Product Planning: Innovate and plan new services to address market demands and client needs.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with overseas organizations and local affiliates to expand our network.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and manage strong networks with stakeholders and partner companies to drive collaboration.
- Management Planning: Develop and propose effective management plans.
- M&A Projects: Participate in mergers and acquisitions to identify growth opportunities by discussing with headquarter.
- Global Expansion: Assist in the future establishment and operation of overseas bases in target markets.
- Travel Requirements: Be prepared for overseas travel to build relationships and support business development efforts.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in related area (Science, Chemical, Business Administration etc.)
- Proven experience in B2B business development or sales.
- Strong understanding of management practices and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building.
- Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
- Native Japanese. Business level in English. Chinese is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel across APAC region as needed.
