Disney Consumer Products (DCP) is the business segment that brings stories and characters to life through innovative and engaging physical products and digital experiences across more than 100 product categories.

Disney’s retail footprint includes the global Disney Store e-commerce platform.

About The Role

The Marketing Intern role under the Disney Store APAC e-commerce team will gain exposure in the planning and execution of e-commerce marketing and communication strategies and activities across AUS NZ HK TW SG MY markets. The intern will also be able to gain understanding of an e-commerce business through applied use of data and post-campaign learnings that support business objectives.

This role will assist in building clear and effective digital content that connect with audiences to drive retail outcomes. There will be exposure to navigating a large organization, through varied support functions (logistics, finance, research, legal etc.) to ultimately execute marketing campaigns. You will also learn to use various marketing channels (social, email, paid media) and business intelligence tools: Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Google Search Console, etc.

By the end of the internship, candidate will champion an upcoming product program release and navigate the end-to-end marketing process from initial ideation and briefing, execution across marketing channels, through to end of campaign reporting.

Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing


  • Actively participate and support brainstorming of creative digital content ideas for marketing campaigns
  • Think creatively to produce new concepts/ideas, while working with available assets
  • Support day to day digital activity in running programs, campaigns, and community management on various social media platforms i.e. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
  • Research on suitable influencers, partners and publishers to strengthen partnership and Affiliate marketing
  • Liaise with different lines of business and learn synergy for marketing campaigns across the regions
  • Track performance, analyse campaign results and share with markets as a best practice
  • Research on latest digital trends relevant to Disney


Internship Requirements:


  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between July to December 2025

Requirements:


  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
  • Active user of social media channels who stays up to date on trends and new developments
  • Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel.
  • Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for eCommerce and Digital Marketing
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams.
  • Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
  • Hands-on, organized, able to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Creative and keen on contributing fresh ideas.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Doc tools. Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of social media management tools such as Sprinklr is a plus.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
