  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Scope

  • Perform visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Verify products against specifications, standards, and quality criteria.
  • Conduct basic tests such as weight, dimensions, and temperature checks.
  • Record and report inspection and test results accurately.
  • Identify and report any deviations or defects to supervisors.
  • Ensure proper labelling, documentation, and traceability of inspected products.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate inspection tools and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards during inspections.
  • Provide feedback to support process improvements and defect prevention.
  • Performs ad-hoc tasks as required by reporting officer

Experience

  • Prior experience in quality control or a similar role (1-2 years preferred).
  • Familiarity with inspection processes and quality standards in the relevant industry.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., callipers, gauges, thermometers).
  • Basic computer skills for recording and reporting inspection data.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of quality control procedures and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HACCP, GMP) is an advantage.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Comfortable working in manufacturing or production environments, which may include exposure to noise, heat, or cold.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
