
Equipment Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Able to bring the equipment up according to the design intent.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment and feedback to design team.
- Troubleshooting and resolving equipment-related issues, including diagnosing faults and implementing corrective actions.
- Test and ensure the equipment has achieved specifications.
- Provide technical support and training to users and technical staff.
- Provide on-site support to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical field;
- At least 3+ years' experience in Engineering and/or Manufacturing role is preferred.
Requirement:
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Interpretation of mechanical, electrical drawings & GD&T, technical specifications, and product control documentation.
Skillset(s) Requirement:
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding equipment setup and operation, including electrical debug and mechanical alignment. Knowledge of performance expects of equipment is crucial (example OEE, MTBF, etc) Familiarity with technical drawings, engineering specifications, and quality control standards.
Customer Management Skills:
Demonstrated experience building and managing key customer relationships, with a focus on aligning deliverables to customer expectations.Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze performance data and drive continuous improvement.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
