  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain multiple database systems, including MariaDB, PostgreSQL, EDB, Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
  • Monitor daily backups and ensure robust recovery solutions are in place.
  • Optimize database performance, ensure high availability, and resolve incidents and issues.
  • Collaborate with the Major Incident Management (MIM) team to address critical issues efficiently.
  • Perform regular patching and upgrades in production environments.
  • Work closely with users and vendors to diagnose and resolve database-related challenges.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvements to enhance database operations.
  • Apply industry best practices to improve system reliability and overall performance.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Practical experience with at least two database systems (e.g., MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL/EDB, Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Strong expertise in backup and recovery, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
