Technician
Job Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the repairs, maintenance and servicing of all types of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment installed in the hotel including the fire system, chillers, kitchen equipment and etc.
2. Installs, repairs, test and maintains electrical wirings, fixtures, fittings, fixtures panels controls including genera electrical troubleshooting of circuitry, general building paintings and repairs and etc.
3. Responsible for the replacement of the burnt-out bulbs, fluorescent tubes and other electrical devices.
4. Maintains emergency generator batteries as well as for cleanliness of the machine and its surrounding area and plant rooms.
5. Reports any abnormality encountered during the checking of all equipment and facilities such as M&E plant room, swimming pools etc.
6. Maintains swimming pool and equipment in good working condition.
7. Responsible for set up of audio-visual equipment such as overhead projectors.
8. Assists the engineer’s or supervisor in charge for the all types of repairs, maintenance and servicing works of the air handling unit, fan coil units and other mechanical and electrical systems including the availability of spares parts.
9. Maintains emergency generator and conducts test run bi-monthly.
10. Records all completed jobs and recommendation in the log book, job sheet and other forms as may be required.
11. Assists Security Department during fire drill exercise and for any fire related matters.
12. Undertakes other duties as and when requested by Supervisor and Hotel Management.
Requirements
1. Minimum NTC-3 in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services
2. At least 1 year of hands-on experience in similar capacity
3. Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing of building equipment
4. Independent and Responsible individual
5. Possesses good attitude and communication skills
6. Able to perform rotating shift, including weekends and public holidays
7. Able to cover shift duties when required
