Our client is a well-established construction, property development and specialist engineering solutions provider. Currently, they are currently seeking for Project Engineer to be part of project team.

This role is to lead the planning, execution, and technical oversight of construction works. Acting as a bridge between technical teams and project management, they ensure that engineering work is aligned with project goals, schedules, and quality standards.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

  • Oversee and manage civil and building construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and schedules.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Ensure and monitor all instrumentation compliance to the design requirement.
  • Address any non-conformities promptly and effectively.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure proactive measures are in place to prevent accidents and incidents on-site.
  • Work closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and other professionals, to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment on-site.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualifications accepted by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as a Resident Engineer.
  • No experienced candidate can be considered as well
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
