  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL & Oracle Database Administrator to manage and maintain our enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in database administration, specializing in PostgreSQL (9.1x to 11.x) and Oracle (10g, 11g, 12c), along with experience in AWS RDS (Aurora PostgreSQL), database migration, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

PostgreSQL Database Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases in production and development environments.
  • Monitor database performance, optimize queries, and perform index maintenance.
  • Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies, including replication and backup solutions.
  • Manage PgBadger, PgAdmin-4, Repmgr, and PgPool for database monitoring and clustering.
  • Design and maintain database schemas, tablespaces, constraints, and indexes.
  • Perform Point-In-Time Recovery (PITR) and database patching.
  • Provide 24/7 support for critical database issues.

Oracle Database Administration

  • Install, configure, and manage Oracle 10g, 11g, and 12c databases on Linux environments.
  • Perform RMAN-based backup and recovery, Data Pump exports/imports, and schema refreshes.
  • Implement and troubleshoot Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery.
  • Perform ASM and RAC installation, configuration, and performance monitoring.
  • Optimize SQL queries using AWR, ADDM, and Explain Plan.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or any related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in PostgreSQL and Oracle database administration.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS RDS (Aurora PostgreSQL), Repmgr, PgPool, and EFM.
  • Proficiency in Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, database security, user management, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, PITR, Data Pump, and logical backups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.
  • Willing to provide 24x7 on-call support.
