We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to join our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customs Declaration and Inspection: Prepare and submit customs declaration documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc., ensuring compliance with the regulations of both the importing and exporting countries.
- Tariff and Compliance Management: Calculate and pay tariffs, VAT, etc., ensuring adherence to customs regulations and avoiding delays or fines due to non-compliance.
- Goods Inspection and Release: Coordinate with customs inspection processes, provide necessary supporting documents, and expedite clearance procedures.
- Transportation and Storage Coordination: After customs clearance, arrange domestic transportation to ensure goods are delivered promptly to customers or warehouses.
- Exception Handling: Address unexpected issues such as customs inspection, goods detention, document errors, etc., and coordinate to resolve the problems.
- Policy Tracking and Optimization: Stay updated on changes in international trade policies and customs regulations, optimize the customs clearance process, reduce logistics costs, and improve efficiency.
- Communication & Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between customs authorities, shipping carriers, and internal departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customs clearance, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using customs management software and logistics tools.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
