Responsibilities
The Regional Operations Development Manager is a critical role and supports the accelerated Standardization & Operation Excellence (Ops-Ex) agenda across APAC (in line with Strategy 2X30), with specific focus on key #ExecutionEdge pillars such as BASICS, OMSFC, Knowledge & Data Management, Certified, etc.
- Enable and support successful delivery: Utilize foundational data analysis skills to manage and coordinate key priorities and programs in line with Strategy 2X30 (ExecutionEdge scope). This includes collecting and analyzing data to generate insights, measuring and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Change Management & facilitation: Drive adoption and address change management needs of stakeholders. Support/facilitate certified programs and structure internal knowledge management forums.
- Foster a ‘Culture of Data’ and ‘data-driven insights’ by leveraging Operational data (Business KPIs & Metrics, Inventory management, Labour management, Process performance, etc.), digital tools & techniques, and engage the business with key opportunities/areas of value. Utilize basic statistical methods and data visualization techniques (where needed) to drive buy-in for ‘value driven’ initiatives and ensure transparency of performance/progress.
- Engage Regional OE community and Ops Stakeholders by leveraging internal communications/engagement tools: Strengthen engagement with ops stakeholders and promote standardization of best practices, build ownership and pride in performance improvement initiatives through clear communication of data insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or Operations
- Understanding of operational excellence role & responsibilities and operating model
- More than 5 years of experience working in the supply chain and logistics industry
- Experience and understanding of Operations Excellence topics
- Experience in training & facilitating in multi-cultural, operational and virtual environments
- Solid knowledge of key subjects (esp. Standardization, Continuous Improvement, etc.)
- Experience in detailing with APAC regional cultures & business norms
- Ability to communicate and drive engagement in both physical and virtual environment
