Location: East
Working hours: 5.5 days work week - Mon - Fri (9am to 6pm, Saturday (8am to 12pm Work From Home)
Position: Air Freight Manager (19445)
Job Description
Preparation and submission of monthly reports for customers
Work with all relevant departments to ensure planning, execution and successful implementation of any new projects
Building and maintaining of relationships with all airfreight service providers
Develop business in co-loading and warehouse services
Attend customer’s KPI meetings
Lead team members meet their individual targets to achieve profit growth.
Ensure that goods are moved safely and efficiently on behalf of an exporter or importer.
Prepare financial and management reports.
Liaise closely with subcontractors, airlines and customers.
Plan and develop operational strategy based on financial budgets.
Carry out staff performance reviews in line with their company’s procedures.
Conduct inductions or training for new personnel
Ensure continuous improvements in operational and work efficiency
Job Requirement
Experienced in similar role
Must be familiar with the entire process of air freight
Good administrative skills and experience.
Must have good problem solving and negotiation skills.
Good managing skills and strong self-motivation.
Need to have a good knowledge of geography to assist with the day-to-day movement of freight around the world
