We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Private Equity Associate to join their dynamic team, focusing on investment opportunities across various industries within ASEAN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment due diligence to assess potential private equity opportunities in the ASEAN region.
  • Support deal execution by preparing investment memos, conducting industry research, and assisting in structuring transactions.
  • Engage in portfolio management activities, monitoring the performance of portfolio companies and identifying value creation initiatives.
  • Work closely with senior investment professionals to develop investment theses and evaluate market trends.
  • Assist in deal sourcing by identifying and analyzing new investment prospects and engaging with industry stakeholders.
  • Participate in negotiations, structuring, and execution of investment transactions.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and management teams.

Qualifications:

  • Good academic qualifications with at least 2-5 years of work experience in a top-tier investment bank or private equity fund
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong commercial judgement and experience in deal execution, diligence and closing in direct investments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the ASEAN market and investment landscape is preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the ASEAN region are a plus.
