Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chef with expertise in Kerala vegetarian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for traditional cooking, a deep understanding of Kerala flavors, and the ability to create dishes that align with our Sattvic principles while showcasing the culinary richness of Kerala.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic Kerala vegetarian dishes, including staples, festive specialties, and traditional desserts.

Maintain the authenticity of recipes while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.

Innovate and introduce new dishes to complement the existing menu.

Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards in food preparation and kitchen operations.

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food costing, and waste management.

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold quality and efficiency in operations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience specializing in Kerala vegetarian cuisine with NOG.

Comprehensive knowledge of Kerala spices, cooking techniques, and traditional recipes.

Familiarity with Sattvic food principles is a plus.

Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

Proficiency in Malayalam and/or English for effective communication.
