A local company that provides offshore support services is looking for a HR Manager to lead the HR, admin and facilities department.

Your new role

Reporting to the chairman, your role includes but not limited to the following:

  • Manage all HR-related activities for Singapore offices, including payroll, employee engagement, benefits, facilities, and administration.
  • Provide HR guidance to senior management and regional offices.
  • Develop and implement best practices, procedures, and policies.
  • Oversee international mobility, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and change management.
  • Compensation & Benefits
    Develop market salary benchmark reports and provide HR business partnering support.
    Ensure compliance with labor legislation and organizational policies.
    Lead and develop the HR team, and oversee facilities and admin personnel.
    Develop and implement organization-wide performance management strategies and compensation structures.
    Ensure compliance with governmental regulations for C&B reporting, payroll, and audits.
    Design and administer C&B policies, programs, and practices, including job grading, insurance, and performance share plans.
    Conduct market research, salary benchmarking, and labor market surveys to inform C&B decisions.
    Lead annual salary reviews, bonuses, and performance management cycles.
    Manage HR projects and provide backup support for payroll processing.
  • Talent Acquisition:
    Perform headhunting functions through job portals and cold calling
    Develop and review talent acquisition workflows and processes
    Conduct end-to-end talent acquisition processes
  • Learning & Development:
    Manage Talent Internship Programme, Talent Retention Programme, and Graduate Attachment Programme
    Identify learning and development needs with business leaders and implement initiatives
    Lead the selection of key organizational training programs
    Manage the organizational training budget
  • Employee Relations & Grievances Handling:
    Conduct employee engagement workshops and health talks
    Manage disciplinary procedures, conduct investigations and employee inquiry to resolve workplace and employee issues

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience using Timesoft payroll system is a MUST
  • Experience handling dormitory workers / blue collars workers
  • Candidate with short notice preferred
