We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and expanding our data pipelines while actively shaping the future of our BI system. If you are passionate about data engineering, ETL processes, and driving business insights, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Design, maintain, migrate and optimize the BI system to meet evolving business needs.
  • Transform batch data ingestion processes into real-time or near real-time dataflows.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and enhance data infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement new business insights to support decision-making.
  • Recommend and integrate cloud-native tools and frameworks to improve data processing and analytics capabilities.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and working on big data platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python, PHP, R, or other programming languages.
  • Familiar with ETL tools (e.g. Spark, Flink) and data warehouse products (e.g., StarRocks, Snowflake).
  • Basic understanding of business intelligence tools like Tableau.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Fast learner with a proactive and analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication skills in English (Mandarin or German is a plus but not required).

Good to Have

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, AWS).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Passionate in the gaming industry.
