The Job:

This position is responsible for overseeing SEA marketing activities, providing and executing the overarching marketing strategy to ensure that the Southeast Asia region will meet its growth targets whilst delivering exceptional service for our customers. This position is a key member of the Southeast Asia Team and will have close interactions with regional teams.

Location: Singapore or Malaysia.

You’ll get to:

Strategic Development and Execution:

  • Develop and implement the SEA Marketing Strategy in alignment with the SEA Tools Business strategy.
  • Lead the execution of key action plans and initiatives to achieve financial and business goals.

Market Analysis and Growth:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of customer needs, channel partners, end users, and competitors in the SEA markets.
  • Devise plans to accelerate growth and capture market share.

Channel Marketing:

  • Develop and execute Channel Marketing plans to build preference for SBD products in collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Achieve high channel penetration of targeted categories/sub-categories.

Digital Marketing and eCommerce:

  • Partner with the Digital Marketing team to develop and deploy winning digital campaigns and content.
  • Collaborate with the Digital & eCommerce team to understand online end users and develop an NPI roadmap focused on eCommerce growth.
  • Enhance online reputation, ratings, reviews, and community engagement through targeted programs.
  • Track and monitor the effectiveness of campaigns.

Consumer Journey and Communication:

  • Develop consumer journeys by brand and product category.
  • Develop communication materials, including ecommerce and online style guides, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Ensure content is updated and aligned with the brand, incorporating digital and eCommerce elements.
  • Assess and optimize website and social media content.

The Person:

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Experiences:

  • 8-10 years of marketing experience in reputable organizations, preferably within the industrial sector.
  • Prior experience in sales or sales management is preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing and growing a business through both direct and indirect channels.
  • Strong business acumen with a proven track record in established organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with a history of transformational thought leadership in marketing.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and alignment with SBD values.
  • Proven ability to manage business complexity and prioritize effectively.
