The Microsoft Security organization accelerates Microsoft’s mission and bold ambitions to ensure that our company and industry is securing digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds in our customers’ heterogeneous environments, as well as ensuring the security of our own internal estate.Are you looking for a product management role where you will collaborate with our digital sellers, feature PMs, the product vertical and horizontal teams within our Security Engineering Customer Experience organization (CxE), as well as multiple Marketing teams.The focus of the Targeted Customer Product Manager role within the Customer, Communities and Partner (CCP) team is to support worldwide Corporate and Major Growth accounts reactively as requested by our field teams or proactively based on targeted campaigns to gather product feedback. You will deliver L200+ readiness across the full security portfolio to secure sales, deployment, and retention. You will have strong field relationships to offer pre- and post-sales support to ensure that our security stack is a good fit for the ~30k managed accounts through digital sales.We're on the lookout for someone who is energized by direct customer interactions, delivering technical content, and driving product success.   • Act as the advocate and interface between customers, and the Microsoft Security product and engineering teams for Microsoft’s Security product to ensure customer issues are properly addressed, drive critical feedback and insights, and gather customer requirements to improve the product value to customers, and product adoption.
  • Support customers, and field teams as the Security product evolves.
  • Deliver customer readiness sessions online and/or in person.
  • Serve as a point of contact in Microsoft Security Engineering for assigned customers.
  • Work towards becoming a subject matter expert on Microsoft Security, especially AI strategy and supporting product technologies (Purview, Identity, Threat Protection) to effectively guide customers.
  • Work directly with customers at all levels of their security organization from analyst to CISO to support investigation and response.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • Mid-level experience in a technical role across Security portfolio; ability to go deep in select security technical/solution areas with drive and a growth mindset.
  • Clear and effective communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills, excellent written and spoken communication for both internal and external audiences, and the ability to adapt to your audience (including senior executives).
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders leading highly visible initiatives/products/projects at scale.
  • A strategic mindset and vision to anticipate future demands and competitive needs.
  • The ability to partner closely with both internal and external managed customers.
Positive and collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to work on cross-team projects.
