The Right Profile

At Syfe we want our users to build wealth effortlessly, and we need a great design team to get us there.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to play a key role in shaping key areas of our app, ensuring our users get the best possible experience. You’ll be responsible for work across the design process—from ideation, to validation, high-fidelity UI and handoff—collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring our visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently owning a specific product area or design function.
  • Support implementing design strategy and driving the design direction of the projects you own.
  • Design solutions that solve problems in simple and intuitive ways caring about the big picture and the small details needed to ship excellent work.
  • Strong collaboration with product managers and the design team, sharing work, insights, and opportunities as they develop.
  • Taking ownership of design projects to drive them to success, making design decisions based on research, data and stakeholder input.
  • Humble work ethic, accepting that no one person can know all the answers and not being afraid to speak up when unsure.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of in-house experience designing, and shipping, user centric digital products.
  • Highly tuned eye for great design and across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
  • Adaptable and proactive approach to all phases of the product design process, defining opportunities, wireframes, prototyping, and deliverables.
  • Strong examples of a component first approach to design, arriving at efficient scalable solutions.
  • Remote and in-person communication skills.


Nice to have

  • Experience working with, and contributing to, a shared design system.
  • Experience mentoring other designers.
  • Relevant experience in fintech, banking or other financial services.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in design, computer science or related technical field.
