Key responsibilities
Ensure the fleet is well-maintained and operating at peak efficiency.
Plan and oversee periodic maintenance schedules, dry docking, and delegate tasks to team members
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues, including ad hoc repairs
Coordinate with other departments and contractors to complete work assignments efficiently
Develop and enforce SOPs, ensuring compliance with company policies, government regulations, and safety guidelines
Maintain the workshop and building facilities in excellent condition
Track fleet statistics, operating history, and coordinate maintenance activities for operational efficiency
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of engine troubleshooting or relevant engineering background
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Familiar with 6S and Kaizen methodologies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Able to maintain operational oversight remotely, even outside working hours if necessary
Minimum 6 years experience in a similar role or relevant field
Strong planning and organizational abilities
Leadership and problem-solving skills
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
The team operates six days a week; you’ll need to ensure smooth coordination and operational visibility
