What the role is:Temporary Admin Assistant (SSCS/FAA)(Apr to Jun 2025)What you will be working on:
  • Support the processing of various financial aid and academic awards' schemes administered by the division • Administer awards which covers (but not limited to) checking and assessing applicants' application forms and supporting documents based on set criteria, following up with applicants on outstanding documents, flag out exceptional cases for deliberation, creation of applicants' awards into relevant systems, etc • Manage enquiries, complaints and appeals from stakeholders, i.e. students, parents, public, donors, agencies, etc • Review and improve work processes • Maintain proper documentation keeping • Any other administrative duties as assigned by the department
What we are looking for:
  • Candidates with at least 1 to 2 years administrative work experience and/or with experience in handling financial aid and awards' schemes will be preferred • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills (both in written and spoken) • Passionate in supporting students • Self-motivated, self-disciplined with positive attitude • Meticulous with good calculus skills • Good time management and strong multi-tasking skills • Technology savvy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Candidate must be a good team player who is process/detail-oriented and organised
