Position Overview:

The Value Chain Finance Operations Manager (VP/Director) will oversee and optimize the end-to-end financial processes and operational flow across the bank's business units. This position is central to ensuring the smooth execution of financial operations that span procurement, invoicing, payment collection, cash flow management, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in finance operations, business process optimization, and operational efficiency in the value chain, while also managing strategic relationships and driving performance improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

In this role, the Value Chain Finance Operations Manager will lead the function responsible for ensuring seamless integration between finance operations and the bank's broader business processes. This includes driving continuous improvements to financial workflows, reducing operational costs, and enhancing efficiency across the bank. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full range of finance processes within the value chain, from procurement to invoicing and payment collection. They will ensure the bank's internal policies, regulatory requirements, and global best practices are adhered to within the financial operations.

The role requires the management of key financial processes, which includes guiding and coordinating the financial supply chain, liaising closely with procurement, treasury, and product teams to ensure smooth collaboration and the efficient execution of financial operations. The candidate will also play an active role in ensuring the right systems and technology are in place to support these operations, with a focus on driving automation and improving efficiency.

Another key aspect of the role involves overseeing reporting and analysis of value chain finance performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and working to streamline operations. The successful candidate will need to ensure that all processes adhere to the bank's risk management and compliance framework, minimizing operational risks while continuously improving operational effectiveness. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with senior leadership to define and align operational goals with the bank's broader strategic objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 8+ years of experience in finance operations, ideally within a banking or financial services environment, is required. Experience in managing end-to-end finance operations, particularly in the value chain finance processes such as procurement, invoicing, cash flow management, and payment collection, is critical.
