The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing key tasks for the development of the new NDCS building. This includes coordinating design and technical review, managing procurement activities, tracking project timeline, and executing a seamless transition from the existing facility to the new premises.
Responsibilities
Coordinate design and technical reviews
- Review the building’s floorplan and design, while facilitating technical specifications evaluation with key stakeholders and project consultants.
Manage procurement activities and timeline
- Oversee the procurement needs of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE), including obtaining users requirement, liaising with ECC Commissioning Secretariat on budget allocation and Finance for internal budgeting.
- Manage procurement processes, activities, and timeline, where relevant.
- Track and verify the delivery and installation of FF&E, where relevant.
Drive adherence to project timelines
- Develop detailed project timeline and engage stakeholders to align project goals.
- Monitor project milestones and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Ensure seamless transition / relocation planning
- Develop a comprehensive move plan to transit from the existing facility to the new building
- Coordinate logistics and schedules for the relocation process.
Deliver clear reporting and communication to management
- Prepare and present regular updates on project status and key developments to management.
- Report on the potential risks and proposed resolution to management.
Provide secretariat support to committees
- Organise and schedule committee meetings, such as New Development Steering Committee and New NDCS Commissioning Working Committee.
- Prepare agenda, meeting materials, minutes, and follow up on action items.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- At least 8 years of working experience
- Relevant experience in healthcare construction projects will also be considered
