  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Overview

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for driving Agile practices across our cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth execution of Sprint ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, and the operations team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile Processes: Guide teams through Scrum practices, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and best practices.
  • Sprint Execution: Oversee Sprint Planning, Sprint Grooming, Ticket Estimations, Sprint Retrospectives, and end-of-Sprint feature demos.
  • Impediment Removal: Identify and remove obstacles that could affect the team's progress and productivity.
  • Collaboration with Ops Team: Manage and integrate ad-hoc operations requests that arise during Sprints while maintaining workflow balance.
  • Support Release Management: Work closely with QA and engineering leads to ensure smooth monthly releases—coordinating staging regression cycles and production sanity testing before app store releases.
  • Foster Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of learning and retrospection, ensuring actionable improvements in Sprint processes and Sprint velocity.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.
  • Team Enablement: Encourage a self-organizing, high-performance culture by mentoring team members on Agile methodologies and fostering collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, QA, and operations.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (Aha! preferred, but Jira, Trello, or Asana are also acceptable).
  • Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities between feature development and ad-hoc operational requests.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface between technical and business teams.
  • Experience in managing software releases and coordinating QA processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
  • Experience working in mobile app development environments.
  • Familiarity with QA processes and best practices.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
